honestly I loved it even more I thought I would. I love all the characters, the humor is fantastic, and the mix between episodic chapters and the more serious plot progressing chapters is well balanced. Absolutely a 10/10.
while the principal cast have gone near their corresponding goals (as ch 137), the others chara is explored and paired, like ishigami
others chara is still left as side kick like chika or the maid of shinomiya
i bask the read, until at present it'southward still rosy highschool beloved comedy, hope won't go to others management
the writer skillful at keeping paces, so you lot won't get bored
plot somehow piece of cake to predict, only also leaves many possibility... and so bettet let it exist... don't think too hard abou it
fair enough screentime for each main and supporting characters. every characters are lovable... even for the most negative grapheme
Currently, virtually of the characters' backstories and personalities have been revealed and feels similar information technology's coming to a determination dissimilar other romance serial like Nisekoi. It's probably not going to end yet, merely each affiliate is very enjoyable and the sense of humor is sharp and sometimes fifty-fifty meta.

I've read some reviews of people criticizing the fact that the premise of the manga kinda got lost later a while. While there's a fleck of truth in that, it'southward for good reasons; this manga plays well with keeping the status quo without making it stagnating. The characters develop in an organic fashion, so it's just natural that their interactions alter also; simply it doesn't happen all all of a sudden, it's a slow and believable process. While the characters alter, they never contradict who they are, and the one-act keeps being on point, just changing range from time to fourth dimension. This style the manga has managed to stay fresh, when keeping the same formula all forth would take killed it in the long run.
really like it. not ofttimes practise u come across both characters desire each other the same amount. usually in romance mangas the male character does nothing but chase the female graphic symbol. this is similar every bit close to 50/50 yous can go far terms of give and take.
Information technology started out very practiced, both Primary Characters had equal abilities for the 'war of dear' in which the one to confess starting time loses.
As it went on, ane gets already suspicious of it rather early. The male character does not take the initiative at all (not entirely true, 1 time he pretended to be asleep *slow clap*). The female is doing the nigh planning, like setting traps.
Now it is at a indicate that the female lead character jumps in just to become ridiculed most of the time, while the male one has a a few 'shining hero' scenes.
There is a huge imbalance now between the characters and that killed the manga for me.
The one-act is notwithstanding adept, merely it doesn't save the manga after the loss of its own premise.
Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai is a satirical romantic comedy with a razor sharp wit. It follows the story of the student counsel at a rich high school, and the budding relationship between its president and vice president, which is impeded by their pride and stubornness. The story takes mundane scenarios from typical highschool romance and turn them on their heads, with the main charcters going to hilarious lengths to win the upper paw in an ultimately futile competition. The characters are genre savy, but are in many ways too savy for their own practiced. They ofttimes finish upwards thwarting their own plans by being too clever or obscure. The writing makes great use of the contradictions betwixt what characters say and what they are thinking or feel. The art supports this brilliantly by bringing the characters' farthermost emotions out fifty-fifty behind their reserved expressions such as the titular character's signature death glare.
The manga avoids an extensive supporting cast, instead choosing to extensively develop a modest core of 5 (to date) characters with a few others that testify up occasionally. This has immune the author to motility by merely presenting standard rom-com cliches. Kaguya is particularly dynamic: sometimes she is a rich tsundere, other times a xanatos gambler, occasionally a murderess and sometimes merely a sensitive girl in love.
For combining hip-busting gags with satirical wit, Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai is hands ane of the best romantic comedies I've read, and deserves a ten/ten.
Information technology was proficient when it was a monthly serial. The interaction between two main characters were unique, refreshing and interesting. Only when it'south turned into weekly, the quality dropped off. Kaguya became a generic tsundere, and there are fillers like the ramen affiliate which is not supposed to be a part of the chief story. No more battle of the wits between the ii, and that'due south what I miss the virtually.
When it started, definitely a ten, or a ix at the very least. Only at present it's a seven to me, which is still fine but the it isn't upwardly to its erstwhile quality.
so fresh and funny and pretty clever and very cute. this manga would brand a groovy anime, with the correct studio of class. It shouldnt exist like a filler series either, the story and concept is just to proficient to be only a mere filler series.
